TRANSFER SKATERS

If you are transferring to Cherry City Roller Derby from another WFTDA league, please email membership@cherrycityrollerderby.com for next steps.

ALUMNI MEMBERS

We are thrilled you're interested in returning to The Madhouse! The Alumni membership is a great option for retired skaters wishing to get back on 8-wheels in a more part-time capacity.

To get started:

  • Complete a new membership application

  • Renew WFTDA insurance

  • Discounted $15/month alumni membership dues

  • All required gear (quad skates, helmet, knee pads, elbow pads, wrist guards, mouth guard)

  • Practice with Level 1 & 2 for seven (7) non-contact practices prior to resuming contact practices (if desired).

Alumni Members who were previously team skaters can participate in team practices and scrimmages after current skill level has been assessed by the Head of Training but will not be considered a team member.

VISITING & DROP-IN SKATERS

Guest skaters and skaters on LOA are welcome to drop in to scrimmages, Level practices, Skate 100, and Endurance.

You must have:

  • WFTDA/USARS insurance

  • Signed waiver at entrance for each visit

  • Paid the $5 drop-in fee via cash/check placed in dues drop box, or via Venmo for each visit.

  • All required gear (quad skates, helmet, knee pads, elbow pads, wrist guards, mouth guard)

Scrimmage:
Guest skaters who are actively skating in full-contact derby with CCRD or elsewhere are welcome to drop in to Thursday scrimmages. Modified contact scrimmages are held on the third Sunday of every month. Check with our VP at vicepresident@cherrycityrollerderby.com to confirm eligibility.
